Samantha Gallagher, B.A., M.Ed., RRP

Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant

Samantha Gallagher completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of British Columbia.  In 2011, she completed a Master's of Education degree at UBC with a specialization in Vocational Rehabilitation Counselling.  While completing her Master's degree, Samantha earned a scholarship awarded for the highest academic achievement and most promising clinical skills.  Prior to joining Vocational Pacific, Samantha was a Crisis Management Consultant for an Employee and Family Assistance Program where she coordinated crisis debriefings nationwide.

Ms. Gallagher began working with Vocational Pacific as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant in 2011.  She has extensive litigation experience with matters including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, various other types of personal injury cases and family law.  In addition, she provides assistance on rehabilitation cases, personal vocational counselling and labour market research. Ms. Gallagher's services are regularly requested by both Plaintiff and Defence lawyers across British Columbia. 

Ms. Gallagher has been accepted as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and has appeared before the Court on many occasions.  She also has experience with WorkSafe BC claims, both from her work at Vocational Pacific and also from her time as a practicum student at WorkSafe BC. 

Samantha's time outside of work is spent with her husband and the new addition to their family, Edith.  Samantha enjoys travelling (particularly to Hawaii), baking, reading, gardening and stand up paddle boarding.

Ms. Gallagher is currently on maternity leave. She will return to Vocational Pacific in February of 2020.
